Puppies!
A Reprise

grace with a puppy

puppy with a chipmunk

barnabas with a potato

Just finishing up the puppy pictures here. I’ve been listening to the new The Faint CD and it’s very good. I shouldn’t say new, cause I think it came out at least a year ago, but you know what I mean. Presently, I have had too much coffee and it feels like my heart is going to explode. I kind of think this has been happening more often than it should recently, which means I should probably have less coffee. I’ve been trying to cut back, I guess.

I have to put together a poster/presentation by tomorrow. I don’t really have any of it done. I’d be happy to half-ass it, because that’s just sort of how I’m feeling about school right now. But I have to like, show it to other students, and I don’t want to be that kid that half-asses his poster.

Dan and Steph and Stacia and I are doing a movie for Japanese class. We have to. We’re kind of making a monster movie. I think it’s altogether too ambitious, but that’s my own fault. The title will be (hopefully) コリトン対ダンゴ. I hope you can read that. If you can’t, it says “Your Mom.”

アハハ。

Puppies!

Eight puppies! Wow! By now though, some are taken and all but two are claimed. Sad, but all crazy puppy dreams must come to an end.

I am currently on hold, trying to resolve issues of travel. It is complicated, and there has been a lot of crappy sounding crappy music played to me over the phone, but thinks are looking a bit more straightforward now. I’m looking forward to when we actually go to Mexico and I get to experience travelling without all the corporate bureaucracy, not vice versa.

Gastroenteritis Strikes!

cassie is sick

This girl is sick. She’s getting better, and that is largely due to copious amounts of sleep, but she was real sick yesterday. So sick we had to cancel our trip to Mexico. Yikes. We’re all sad, but Cassie is (and definitely was not at the time) in any condition to fly to freakin Mexico. She barely made it to the doctor’s. Luckily, we have trip insurance, though the paper work is annoying. Hopefully we’ll go after graduation. We’ll have more to celebrate then anyway.

The Devil in Miss Gracie

devil in miss gracie

drunky lights

Last night was the Founder’s Day Gay-la. Oops I mean Gala. There’s an actually Gay-la, or there was at any rate. It probably didn’t have free drinks though. Oh man, though, the “bar” was just crazy. Because, if you have the choice between salsa dancing with a cool band that actually sings in Spanish and, and, free drinks…well…the bar was crowded. I have a picture, but, it’s not so cool and you can probably cruise the archives and find a similar one.

I watched Walk the Line last night which was a solid enough movie. Not so great, a touch long perhaps, but I did appreciate the music. Johnny Cash has very similar sounding songs, but they’re all pretty interesting and creative when you look at them all together. Not just for the time, but in general. When I was watching it I thought, “Man, I could never come up with songs like that. I’m not clever enough.” To have a steady beat and then sing steadily over it. Whatever, suffice it to say “johnny cash tab” is in my Google search box, and minus the “tab” for my Illegal Music Downloader.
